"Today I brought my son to We Rock the Spectrum, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about our experience. The woman at the counter was absolutely wonderful. She immediately noticed how excited my son was. He is level three, nonverbal, and new environments can be very overwhelming for him. She let me know they only had about 30 minutes left of open play, and I explained that I already knew we would be coming back another day. I figured we might as well just leave. She kindly said, “Go ahead and let him come in. It’s going to be hard for him to come in and then leave.” That understanding alone meant so much. I got his coat and shoes off, and for once he was just able to be free. Unlike most places, where the layout makes it difficult and stressful, this place is perfectly designed for a child like my son. The setup is ideal, safe, and calming while still being fun. I was so happy that I immediately called my mother to tell her I had finally found a place for him. It’s also very affordable — $15 for two hours — which is refreshing compared to places like Sky Zone with their chaotic environments and outrageous pricing. I will 100% be returning to We Rock the Spectrum. It is everything you hope it will be when you’re hesitant or nervous about bringing your child with special needs somewhere new. Can’t go to the park because your child elopes? Go to We Rock the Spectrum. Need a safe space where your child can run, explore, and decompress? Go to We Rock the Spectrum. It’s perfect."
